General health and safety rules 

  • Please walk with care as floors are slippery.
  • Please use the toilet before entering the pool to prevent any accidents.
  • Do shower prior to entering the pool to help keep the pool clean.
  • Seek help from staff if you start to feel unwell.
  • If you are pregnant, have a serious illness, heart or respiratory condition, high or low blood pressure, or any other medical condition, please check with a medical professional before using the pool and facilities.
  • If you have children with you during your visit, please ensure that you are either swimming or supervising them at a close distance where you can see, hear and be heard by your child.

 

 

Safety rules around children

GENERAL HEALTH AND SAFETY RULES
  • Please actively supervise your child – this means, watching your children at all times and be able to provide immediate help to them.
  • Be at a close distance where you can see, hear and be heard by your child.
  • All children under 5 must have a swimming adult with them at all times.
  • All toddlers under the age of 4 are required to wear a waterproof nappy when in the pool.

 

GENERAL HEALTH AND SAFETY RULES – UNDER 5s
  • Please maintain a ratio of one adult to two children under 5s.
  • All children under 5 must have a swimming adult with them at all times.
  • All toddlers under the age of 4 are required to wear a waterproof nappy when in the pool.
  • The swimming adult must be in the water within arm’s reach at all times.

GENERAL HEALTH AND SAFETY RULES – 5 to 8 YEARS OLD
  • Please maintain a ratio of 1 adult to four children between ages 5 to 8 years old.
  • The swimming adult must be in the water within arm’s reach at all times.

  • The supervising adult must be within watching distance at all times.
  • Be at a close distance where you can see, hear and be heard by your child.

 

 

Safety rules for slides

For your safety and enjoyment, please follow these important health and safety rules while using the slides:

  • Height restriction: Children under 1.02 metres are not permitted to ride the slide.
  • Glasses: Glasses must be securely attached or removed before riding the slide.
  • Swimwear restrictions: No swimwear with exposed zippers, buckles, rivets, or metal ornamentation.
  • Maximum weight: The slide has a maximum operational load of 1 person and 136kg.
  • One rider at a time: Only one person is allowed on the slide at a time.
  • Riding position: The slide must be ridden feet first, lying down on your back.
  • Signal from staff: Please wait for the staff’s signal before starting your ride.
  • Safety actions: Do not run, dive, stand, kneel, rotate, or stop while on the slide.
  • End of slide: Upon reaching the end of the slide, please follow all instructions from the staff and exit quickly and safely.

 

Safety rules for spa, steam and sauna

  • All users must be over 16 years of age.
  • Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated
  • Take a break from any of the hot spots after every 15 minutes.
  • Please sit on a towel when using the steam and sauna rooms.
  • Do not pour water on the wood or stone elements.
  • Do not obstruct vents or elements.
  • Seek help from staff if you start to feel uncomfortable or dizzy.
  • If you are pregnant, have a serious illness, heart or respiratory condition, high or low blood pressure, or any other medical condition, please check with a medical professional before use. 
  • The spa pool is drained at 8pm every Friday for regularly scheduled cleaning.
