Shower, Swim & Snack
Below are some of our commonly asked questions about pool etiquette when it comes to shower and food consumption while using the pool.
We ask that you follow these rules at the facility to help keep our water clean and hygienic for all to use.
Why do I need to shower before I swim?
Taking a quick shower before swimming helps reduce the amount of organic matter (like sweat, cosmetics, and dirt) that enters the pool. This keeps the water cleaner and more enjoyable for everyone.
Why should I use the toilet before swimming?
By using the toilet beforehand, we can help prevent any accidental release of urine or waste into the pool, keeping the water clean and safe.
How long should I wait to swim after eating?
We recommend waiting at least 30 minutes after eating before jumping in. This gives your body time to digest and reduces any risk of discomfort while swimming.
Why is eating not permitted at the pool?
Eating during your swim can increase the chance of accidents in the pool, like the release of waste or vomit, especially with greasy food.
To keep the water clean and ensure a safe environment, we ask that you wait until the end of your visit to eat.
What if I have booked a party?
If you’ve booked a party, food is only allowed in the designated areas, and guests must either finish eating before entering the pool or wait until the end of their pool session to eat.
This helps keep the pool environment safe and hygienic for everyone.
